Baby R’s Baptism and His Chewable Beads

Last month was a back-to-back occasion for our family. It was baby R’s Baptism and also our 2nd Year Anniversary as a couple. Held at our home church, St. John United Methodist Church, our pastors and family friends gathered around to witness our baby being surrendered to the Lord.

Ninongs and ninangs took turns in holding baby R while they are being photographed one by one. It was a indeed a memorable sight to be with our loved-ones on this special day.

The reception was held at The Seafood Island, Eastwood, Libis. We booked them 2 months prior. I talked to Anne and I find her very accommodating. The total headcount was 150. I can say, that the venue is just enough for that number. I requested that the tables be moved closer to each other para fiesta ang dating! Haha.

My first non-negotiable is the mall itself. I wanted the invitees to enjoy the reception as much as they would with the location. Ang cute mag-picture-taking sa Eastwood because of the lights and mga arte arte na designs sa paligid, including the watersplash show dun sa may mini bridge.

Second is the food. Masarap ang food ng TSI, mind you. Kahit boodle style, you will not regret it! The package we got was 16 boodle random sets. But my favorite is their Davao Boodle Feast! Very affordable and I think everyone enjoyed it based sa mga feedback ng attendees.

The give-aways din are the best! Ang sarap ng cookies from CookieBarManila! R and I really love their cookies. and yes, I am a COOKIE MONSTER! Follow their Instagram account.

The invitations were personally crafted by a friend, Shery Vivero, of DesignandPrintbySAV. Follow her on Instagram, guys. Affordable ang sets nya and she’s very accommodating, too.

For our pictures naman, I suggested we get na lang from Facebook since marami talagang freelance photogs ngayon who offer minimal talent fees kasi what they are after is building their portfolios. We got Danilo Factor, he’s mabait and madaling kausap. Very punctual din kasi he arrived 30 minutes before the time I told him.

This is Baby R with his Chewable Oreo from ChewyBeads. You can also follow them on Instagram! Busy siya mag-chew kaya behave na behave, hehe. It has a clip kaya you don’t need to worry about it getting thrown anywhere. Hehe. I got this for P700.

Overall, the celebration was such a breeze! Looking forward to more DIY moments especially when Baby R turns 1 this year.
