Tamagoya Noodle House – Marikina

Good morning, sunshine! HAY. I have to be honest with you all. I dragged myself from lying in bed this morning. My body was kind of sluggish and tired even after 7 hours of sleep. I don’t know. It must be because of my Political Law final exam this coming Saturday. You know, it’s the most hated subject in the BAR exams plus Taxation Law.
Dear sembreak, are you getting close yet?
Anyhoo, this post is just part of my backpost series this year. But don’t worry. It’s not going to be much of being outdated.

R and I live in Marikina so we have a LOT of options to dine in. As you all know, Marikina is now beginning to be the food capital of the Phils. Am I serious? No. But, who knows? Anything can happen in just a blink of an eye. You can check allovermarikina blog to explore many options!
Sobrang gutom na kami from work kaya we needed to eat agad agad. Or else, magiging monster na naman ako. Rawr.

The thing is, we sometimes find it unreasonable to line up in a long queue of peeps waiting to be seated in a restaurant, this time, Tamagoya. We always pass by the resto and we think that we do not have to wait as we can eat naman somewhere else. Remember, we’re strategically located in Marikina where food businesses are starting to be lucrative. It means, we always have other options. Pero one day, when we passed by Tamagoya, I suddenly felt the need to digest a soup. And since Tamagoya is a Japanese cuisine, kinulit ko si R and he delightfully gave in naman. 😉 Pero super haba parin ng pila so we decided to take our orders out kasi wala narin space for dine-in.

Kara Age (Japanese Fried Chicken) php148.00 4/5 stars
Yaki Gyoza (Japanese Pan-Fried Dumplings 6pcs) php98.00 3/5 stars

Stamina Ramen (Noodles with chill miso paste base soup) php168.00 3/5 stars

What to love?
  • The price. Cheaper compared to other Japanese restos.
  • Tasty.
  • Not too overpowering spices.
  • 1 order = good for 2 persons
Not what to love:
  • Location. No enough parking space and dine-in space.
  • Long queue.
  • Business hours. 11 AM to 2 PM, 5 PM to 9 PM
  • No home delivery.
Will I go back? YES!
